COMPARE INCUBATORS + A HATCHING TIP FROM KATIE

If you’re looked to hatch SHIPPED EGGS. I recommend going with the Hovabator 1588 with an auto turner. It holds 40 eggs. Add in an auto turner - it keeps the eggs upright. At lockdown, add in pulp egg cartons (air cell up as usual) with holes poked through, and the chicks hatch just fine without getting bumped around by early hatchers. Wait (at least) until Mid Day 22 before opening the incubator during hatch or you compromise the hatch.

WHERE TO TEST FOR WORMS

If you’d like to check for worms, prior to deworming we recommend sending fecals to MidAmerica Agricultural Research, INC. they’re a veterinary parasitology laboratory. It’s the most cost efficient option we have found, for sure! (Locally they’re $55.00/one)
