Our Fibro birds have black OR blue skin, and dark combs. They are friendly, curious, and cold hardy. Birds will be blue or black feathered, and may express copper hackles. Other colors are possible, as these birds are now a fourth generation cross. They lay quite frequently. If you love a flock with variety and egg color this is one to add. Our birds have laid mostly green and olive eggs.

Fibromelanosis: Is a genetic mutation that causes the chicken to have increased melanin. The degree will vary per chicken.
